In my second year I started to think about what was going to happen when I left uni, what did my life look like post education? I was in a relationship where we had talked about marriage and settling down, so I started to make self portraits of what this would mean for me. I staged photos of my life every 10 years, what would life in my 20s look like, in my 30s, 40s etc. At the end of the project I looked at the work and realised it wasn’t what I wanted my life to be like, and paved the way for the second project of that year, ‘Worlds Apart’.
